I am researching the TRAINER/TRAYNOR and the DANNER lines.


TRAINER/TRAYNOR
Patrick Trainer came to the US from County Down, Ireland about 1850. He settled in Jackson Co., OH and married Dulsena Humphreys there in 1853. He was injured in the Civil War. He died in 1875 probably from his injuries. Dulsena died a few months later--leaving their children orphaned. The children were: Dennis, Sarah Jane, Joseph, Patrick (my line), Mary or Marie, Eliza, Frank and Emma Lou.

Dulsena's sister was Rachel Humphreys who married Hiram Mercer in Jackson County, OH.

DANNER
John Danner came from Germany. He came to the US about 1856. Married Johanna Halberg from Sweden. This line goes back to Gall Danner in Germany--born circa 1600.
