Dick Family Genealogy: Germany

I have been searching for my ancestors in Germany and parts of what is now Poland off and on for the past 15 years. Made my first trip to my parent's "homeland" September 2004 - a dream of a lifetime!

Especially elusive has been the search for my maternal great grandmother's familiy. POHL, Berta - she married in Sembten, Brandenburg, Prussia; but, I think her family was from Albrechtsdorf - now called Zary, Poland.

Oct 2006 UPDATE: My 2nd great granparents are: Johann Karl Traugott POHL and Maria Emilie GAEBLER (DOB unknown). Both died in Albrechtsdorf Kreis Sorau Mark Brandenburg.
