Cheryl Johnson, 49, of Loveland, died March 10, 2001, in Jefferson County from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 7, 1951, in Junction City, Kan., to Donald N. and Eileen I. Widenhoefer Anderson. She graduated from beauty school in Minnesota. On April 24, 1976, she married Steve Johnson in Moorhead, Minn. In 1982, the Johnsons moved to Loveland from Moorhead, Minn. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of the Loveland Stepford Wives Club. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed crafting, spending time with her family and friends and traveling with her husband Steve. She is survived by a daughter; Christina Wolfe and husband Dave of Loveland; son Tim Johnson of Fort Collins; father Donald Anderson and wife Phyllis of Green Valley, Ariz.; sisters Lynn Wyhte and husband Dave of Minnesota, Tracy Young and husband Marc of Loveland, Kathy Jones and husband Kevin of Denver, Lisa Springer and husband Mike of Denver, and Mary Mino of Denver; brother Paul Mino and wife Peg of Denver; a niece and nephew Brandi and Jake Young of Loveland, and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen I. Anderson, in November 1984. Cremation has been conducted with a memorial service scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Loveland, the Rev. Kim Latterell officiating. Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colorado Donor Alliance, 2772 Cherry Creek North Drive, Suite 601, Denver, 80209.

Steve Johnson, 44, of Loveland, died March 10, 2001, in Jefferson County from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Mr. Johnson was born April 1, 1956, in Lisbon, N.D., to Robert S. and Thelma L. Coleman Johnson. On April 24, 1976, he married Cheryl Anderson in Moorhead, Minn. In 1982, the Johnsons moved to Loveland from Moorhead. Mr. Johnson was a tool room manager at Platte River Power Authority where he had worked for 12 years. An active member of High Counrty Billiards, Mr. Johnson served as a team captain and referee. He also owned and operated Viking Barbeque.
Mr. Johnson was an avid woodworker and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and traveling with his wife Cheryl. He is survived by a daughter, Christina Wolfe and husband Dave of Loveland; son Tim Johnson of Fort Collins; parents Robert "Sonny" and Thelma Johnson of Enderlin, N.D.; sister Sharon Holt and husband Bill of Georgia; brothers Mike Johnson and wife Theresa of North Dakota, and Jim Johnson of North Dakota; and numerous extended family members in North Dakota.
Cremation has been conducted with memorial services scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Loveland, the Rev. Kim Latterell officiating. Patrick J. Wasylow, 48, Mekinock, ND died Saturday, February 5, 2005 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Patrick Joseph Wasylow was born October 6, 1956 in Grand Forks, ND the son of William and Margery Wasylow. He was raised and educated at Mekinock, ND graduating from Midway High School in 1974. He married Theresa Stancyk on October 29, 1975 in St. Michael's Catholic Church of Grand Forks, ND. In his lifetime, he worked for the County, Grand Forks Equipment, Pillsbury, Western Potato, and as a network technician for QWest Communications retiring after 26 years of service due to illness. But above all, the occupation that was his greatest love was farming, which he did most of his life later forming a partnership with his son, Patrick. He had dairy cattle for 10 years and also raised beef cattle. He always faced his battle with cancer with courage and an inner strength that everyone admired. The greatest joy in his life was his family and especially his granddaughter, Katelyn. Patrick brought so much joy to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Theresa, Mekinock, ND; sons, Patrick M. (Cheryl) Wasylow, Mekinock, ND and Chris Wasylow, Grand Forks, ND; granddaughter, Katelyn Wasylow, Mekinock, ND; brothers, William (Doris) Wasylow, Scottsboro, AL, Jim (Lila) Wasylow, Arco, ID, David (Kim) Wasylow, Mekinock, ND, Mark (Stacey) Wasylow, Pisek, ND; sisters, Mary (Richard) Carlson, Mekinock, ND, Kathleen (Jim) Weber, Hartford, WI, Joane (Arthur) Wosick, Warsaw, ND, Carol (Wade) Johnson, Mora, MN, Susan (Kurt) Wanstrom, Arco, ID and Beth (Karen Zimmermann) Wasylow, Corvallis, OR. Patrick was preceded in death by his Godparents, Peter and Nona Wasylow. Mass of Christian Burial: will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday February 8, 2005 at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Grand Forks. Visitation: will be Monday from 5 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service at the church.
