da Silva and Elder Family Ancestors

I am researching our families' ancestry. The most common surnames are: Churchill, Fairchild, da Silva, Bartlett, Elder, Faunce, White and Clapp. The most common locations are: MA, CT, VT, CA, England, Scotland and Japan.

My mother's family goes back to Peregrine White, born on the Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor and to Hannah(Pontus) and John Churchill of Plymouth Colony. My father's grandfather, John Elder, came from the Stirling/Bridge of Allan area of Scotland where the family ran a bakery. Two brothers, Thomas and William, remained in Scotland and I heard that their descendants were still running the bakery in the early 1960s. We have traced the da Silva line through three generations to Japan and Macau.
