1880 census shows James was born in Pa. This was information shown with his son William in Lee County Virginia.

Notes for ELIZABETH MINTON:
Elizabeth had 3 sisters that married " Bailey's " . They were Jobe and Tout. Mary Minton married Jobe and died during childbirth, Jobe then Married her sister Jemimia. Mary had two children and Jemimia had 3 children. They are buried at Spring Dale, near Tazewell, Claiborne County , Tennessee.
