David had been employed as a conductor with Burlington Northern Railroad and was currently employed with Grease-N-Go in Gering. Survivors include his three sons, Thomas Blome of Lincoln, Vince Blome of Fremont and Clint Blome of Lincoln; sister, Juanita Mayer of Gering; and brother, George Blome of Wheatland, Wyo. His parents preceded him in death.
