In the name of God. Amen. I John Maring of Somerset Township, Belmont County, State of Ohio, being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be the Almighty God for the the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following; that is to say First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Maring a certain tract of land known by being the northwest quarter of section fifteen in township seven of range six, for her lifetime and at her decease to be divided equally among the surviving children. I also give to my wife Sarah Maring all my personal property estate goods and chattles of what name and nature soever until my youngest daughter shall arrive to the age of eighteen years, then to be divided equally among my children and further it is to be understood that at decease of my wife when the above mentioned land shall come to be divided that my eldest son Moses Maring has received sixty dollars and ninety eight and half cents to be deducted out of his share - I do hereby appoint by beloved wife sole executrix of my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named John Maring to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator.
