The Benefield Family has been researched to Willis Benefield B. 1773,NC, D. aft 1810 in possibly NC, married to Isabella Cummins in Guilford Co., NC in 1800; married second to Milley Forrest in 1802 Orange Co., NC. The had issue of Henderson Benefield B. 1800-1810 in Indiana or NC., D. 1847-1850 Pope Co., Ark.; married 1827 Scott Co., Mo. to Sarah Louisa Tackett B. 1811 Ky, D. 1894 Jefferson, Marion Co., Texas. Sarah Tackett was the dau. of Lewis Tackett B. 1870 Va., D. 1850 Pope Co., Ark and Mary Elizabeth Basham B. 1773 Va., D. 1850-60 Pope Co., Ark. Other names searching include Taylor, Glass, Phillips, Rogers, Brooks, Conerly, and Davis. I am willing to share data and any info appreciated.
