Macworth,and died 1673, says Willis, in Maine Hist. Coll. I. 65, 135.

Wharfe, Nathaniel, of Falmouth, witnessed a George Felt deed 27 November
1662 and married Rebecca, eldest daughter of Mr. Arthur Mackworth. He
signed a Falmouthpetition 1663, was fined 1665 for absences from court,
with wife q.c. int. in cert. marsh to Francis Neale 1666, and appraised
Richard Martin's estate 21February 1672-3. [List 222b]. His own estate
was appraised by Robert Corbin and Jenkin Williams 23 June 1673;
administered in July to widow Rebecca who then married William Rogers.

by deeds; Nathaniel, Falmouth, Gloucester, born 1661(near age 70 in
October 1730, 71 in April 1732, 72 in July 1733), depositioned that he
lived at Falmouth from earliest recollection until the first Indian war
and for 7 years between the wars, and built a home on his father's farm,
Wharfe's Point, up Presumpscot River, next above Mackworth's. He married
Anna Riggs 30 January 1683 in Gloucester, where 11 children, including
Arthur, were recorded to 1701 when his wife died. In 1735 he deeded all
inventoryin Falmouth to Nathaniel (Noyes); living 12 April 1736, upward
of 75. Rebecca, admitted to Second Church, Boston, in January 1690,
married there 15 February 1693 Francis Holmes. 11 children recorded at
Boston, including Isaac, Nathaniel and Ebenezer. In 1742, the last named,
under his mother, Rebecca Holmes, late of Boston, q.c. Mackworth farm and
island. Included, because of hisname, Arthur, 20 in 1684 when an
apprentice of John Lewis, cooper, of GreatIsland, where he beat up Mark
Rounds, 36 Charles II, 10 Sept. His presence there suggests also Isaac,
Great Island 1692, [List 319], while in Second Church, Boston, two
children of (John and) Martha Wharf were baptized: Margaret, born 15,
baptized 19, May 1695; Susannah, baptized 14 March 1697.
