Early Quakers were opposed to any marker on a grave, thus the unmarked graves of Catherine [Lamb] Elliott & Exum Elliott, my great great great great grandparents. Next to them lies their son, Mark Elliott, my great great great grandfather. To his right lies little Lewis Cassius Elliott, Mark's Elliott's youngest son, who died at the age of 5 years in 1860.
