After Sam died Marie ran a boarding house in Windemere.It was a place full of heavy dark furniture that always smelled of polish.Marie loved having her fortune told, facials and the occasional night on the town.She spent her last years quite happily in an old-age pensioners bungalow on Graig Walk in Windermer and lived into her nineties
