| I am searching for the Betow(Buetow)family that came from Germany and settled in Minnesota in the early 1900's. The Davis - Gamblin - McAllister connection eventually ended up in Swenson, Texas and later California. The Jones line migrated from Henry County, Kentucky into Colorado. I have tracked down my Stout line from Highland and Putnam Counties in Ohio later migrating to Fayette and Bond Counties in Illinois. I am inclined to support my Stout lineage as being from the German/Dutch lines rather than from the more famous English Stouts from New Jersey, but I am still seeking solid proof. With Jones, Davis, and Stout as very prolific last names, it makes the search even more challenging. Any information will be greatly appreciated! I am also interested in correcting errors and discrepancies in my data. Please realize that the data in these reports are constantly undergoing revision.
