Notes for Edward Carter Green:
At the time of marriage Edward was 23 years old and Elizabeth 30 years old.
Witnesses to marriage were George Green who was an Uncle born May 5,1799 and Sarah Elizabeth Godman( or Goodwin) probably a friend of the bride.
The marriage took place in the Parish of Redbourn in Hertfordshire.

In the 1851 census we have 20yr old Edward living with his widowed 57yr old mother Charlotte Green(alias Dibble). His occupation at that time was Painter/
Glazier.

Since have found out that Sarah E. Godman was the older sister of Mathew Godman which explains how Edward and Charlotte included in naming Emma Godman Green(my grandmother)
