On 22 May 1694, he was granted 290 acres of land by the side of Sutton's Creek Swamp. On 1 Sep 1694 Albert Jr. was granted 300 acres on the bank of Perquimans River.

There is a map of early Perquimans, showing that Albert Albertson's land was right next
door to Sarah Gosby, who in turn was next door to Hannah Gosby, both of whom received
grants of land in 1694. This is consistent with the fact that his wife was Mary Gosby.
