The mission of this site is to create a community of people researching the Dawson name. This community will grow by encouraging learning and collaboration between researchers and the sharing of information. In this type of community learning can only come from members wanting to learn more about what they care about and in turn sharing what they have learned with others within the community. The lifeblood of this community is the capacity for sharing, colaborating, and learning shown by its members.

The vision for this site is that it will become the definitive source for all genealogical and historical information that chronicles the Dawson Family Line from the current day to its earliest recorded origins.
