He married (1) ELIZABETH BOGGS February 25, 1847 in Normantown, Lewis County, West Virginia (now Gilmer County), daughter of WILLIAM BOGGS and SARAH STUMP. She was born Abt. 1815 in Rockbridge County, Virginia. He married (2) SALLY A. LAMB April 14, 1879 in Gilmer County, West Virginia. He married (3) ZUBA JOHNSON October 09, 1887 in Gilmer County, West Virginia. He married (4) LUCRETIA A. SHOALS¹⁹ November 25, 1891 in Gilmer County, West Virginia. She died December 26, 1904 in Giles County, Virginia¹⁹.
