The Coleman, Taylor and White families I am researching are from VA as far back as I have been able to find them. Robert Coleman 1620-1680, Burgess (Bird) Taylor 1802-??, Thomas White 1803-aft 1880 and Jacob White 1815-aft 1870. The Baldwin's were in NC in the 1750-1800 timeframe, then to VA and WV. John Baldwin ??-1789 is as far back as I can get. Many descendants of these folks still live in SW VA and southern WV while others have scattered to the far reaches of the US. I was born in CA while my parents were on a short one year stay then grew up in southern WV, leaving in 1956 to serve Uncle Sam as a military and aerospace company employee. I returned to WV in 1997 after retiring. I will add data to this page as I have the time. |
