Welcome,
Please enjoy all the information posted here. I hope that the research I have done will be accurate, and will help others in their search for family history.
I have spent years researching my family and most of my information was from others who have posted information.
Good luck and happy hunting!
Research Notes: I have been out of touch with this page for some time but now in the interest of pressing family buisness. But I hope to start research again. To all fellow Researchers concentrating on my primary genealoical line. That of my direct family history ( Primarily: Amos Day & Sarah Jane Huie and related family, The connection from Amos Day B: 1754 to Benjamin Day B: Abt 1728 is a supposition based on facts obtained in my research. But not a fact as of this date 02/07/06. Unfortunatly my previous research that Amos was the son of Amos, Sr, B: 1720 was found to be incorrect. Further investigation points to the fact that Amos's son Amos Jr. B: 1760 D: 1830 and is buried at Connecticut Farms Cemetery ,First Presbyterian Congregation of Connecticut Farms Stuyvesant Avenue & Chestnut Street, Union, N.J. 07083. This would make him an impossible connection to my direct ancestor Amos Day B:1754. I do not have definative proof at this time who his father was. But I have a lot of facts that support that his real name may have been Ananias ( based on 1790 Washington County, Morris Twp, PA Census records. And the will of his Mother-in-Law Pierces Huie.) and other collaberating evidence) But no smoking gun as yet. I hope to hear from other researchers on this same track. As to the others contacting me about realatives outside of my direct family line. Most information has been obtained from FTW Files downloaded and merged from Faily Tree Maker. com and/or Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Web. and I did not directly contribute to the collection of facts in most cases. I Hope to respond to dirct inquiries in a timely way from this point forward so feel free to email me.
Dan Day
P.S. Please mail me if you have information that needs to be corrected... It's hard to be 100% but I try!
