| I am researching the surnames LIVINGSTON, MAHAN, OSBORNE, AND ROBINETTE. My primary area of research is the LIVINGSTON branch, especially the LIVINGSTONS of Blackwater, Lee County, Virginia. My greatgreat grandfather was Marion W. Livingston,son of Abraham (Abram) Jackson Livingston, a descendant of William Todd Livingston (through Peter and Nathan Francis Livingston). I am also interested in the Osborne family, especially those in the Blackwater area. Individuals of special interest are Solomon Osborne (b. Mar 16 1776) from Scott Co, Va (later moving to Blackwater); and his son, John (Jonathan) Osborne (b. August 4, 1803). John was married to Rebecca Robinette. In addition, I am trying to locate any information on my grandmother, Retta (Sarepta)Mahan Livingston, married to Claude Lee Livingston (son of Henry - Abraham J. - Marion W. - Nathan Francis - Peter - Wm. Todd Livingston). Retta was from Blackwater also, and had a half brother, William. Her mother's name was Elizabeth (maiden name unknown). I would welcome any information on any of these names/people!
