Richard Day is my GGG Grandfather who left England in 1837 for Australia.
I have traced my family back to his father Luke and no further.
Would anyone have any leads for me ?

As Richard DAY was baptized at Minchinhampton, Glouc., his parents would
have resided in the area
(Minchinhampton-Littleworth-Box-Amberley-Forwood).
However towards the latter part of their life, Richard-s parents - Luke &
Elizabeth DAY lived a few miles away at Amberley, on a piece of land
known as Culver House(Farm).
Their residence is there today, and has been significantly enlarged since
Luke-s time.
Luke and Elizabeth are buried in the nearby cemetery at Amberley
(opposite the Inn), with their unmarried daughter Harriet.

So my lineage is….
Luke Day (Glou - England)
Richard Day (England - Adelaide/Australia)
Luke Day
Hedley Percy Day
Douglas Day
Dennis Day
Trent Day (Adelaide – Australia)

Thank You

Trent Day
