After coming to Australia, some time prior to 1859, he lived at Malmsbury 10 klm from Kyneton and married Mary McHugh at Kyneton on 24 October 1859.

First child Henry Michael was born at Malmsbury in 1860.

Jannet was born at Malmsbury in 1862.

When Mary Anne was born in 1865, she was registered at Hartley NSW. Henry & Mary lived at Marrangaroo, near Lithgow - Henry is listed as a farmer.

When Catherine Amelia was born in 1867. Henry & Mary still lived at Marrangaroo.

When Sarah Anne was born in 1869 Henry & Mary still lived at Marrangaroo.

Catherine Amelia dies in 1869. 2 YO.

When John Patrick was born in 1872 they lived at Bridge Rd, Richmond. Vic. Henry owned a Grocery Store and was also a Tailor.

When JP Dean was born. Mary was 34 year old.

Catherine Amelia (2nd) born at Richmond 1874, she dies the next year.

1879 Mary Jane Dean dies at Rochester (This needs checking) as she doesn't appear before.

Notes for MARY MCHUGH:
Mary was 18 when she arrived in Australia in 1850 at Port Phillip On Derwent from Cavan(Ireland) which is near Leitrim. This was given as her birthplace on later certificates.

This fits in with age on her death certificate, but not with the marriage certificate

Lived at Malmsbury 10 klm from Kyneton after marriage, Henry Michael was born at Malmsbury in 1860.

Jannet was born at Malmsbury in 1862.

When Mary Anne was born in 1865, she was registered at Hartley NSW. Henry & Mary lived at Marrangaroo, near Lithgow - Henry is listed as a farmer.

When Catherine Amelia was born in 1867. Henry & Mary still lived at Marrangaroo.

When Sarah Anne was born in 1869, Henry & Mary still lived at Marrangaroo.

Catherine Amelia dies in 1869. 2 YO.

Mary McHugh, my Great Grandmother died and is buried at Coolamon, the town where my Great Garndfather John Patrick Dean had the chaff mill and a farm.
