Notes for O
SWALD GEORGE DEAN:
When Oz lived at St Kilda, he was a very keen fisherman and used to go out onto Port Phillip bay and fish primarily for Snapper, but in the process caught many Flat Head plus other varieties. I went with him fishing and always came back with plenty of fish.

He was a member of a fishing club on the bay and Snapper were checked and weighed to keep a record of total weight caught during a year, for prizes.

He was always keen to catch Baramundi and because they were plentiful around Perth, he moved to Perth and I am not sure if he ever had a chance to go after Baramundi before he died at the kitchen table.
