David Dean of Berkeley, California

This is my family genealogy as of July 2005. This is a work in progress. There are over 900 individuals. However,this includes siblings of ancestors and some of their children as well. The earliest birthdate occurs around 1500. In developing this genealogy, I benefitted from research conducted on behalf of my mother as well as research by a great uncle. With those resources, I was able to supplement with additional details such as more specific dates and locations with the help of newspaper clippings stored by my grandfather, birth and death certificates, and information available on the internet. I have added additional generations in selected areas. The most robust detail is from Quebec and early New England. With those details, the history goes back to Lincolnshire, England and parts of France, primarily Normandy, Anjou, and Alsace. I am currently focused on tracing family origins back to Ireland and the Lancashire region of England. I also am interested in furthering expanding the history in Alsace.
