I am currently researching the names "Deats", "Gruben", "Blan", "Blea", and "Archuleta".
The Deats and Gruben lines come from the United States east coast, the Blan's, Blea's and Archuleta's come from Texas, New Mexico, and California.

I am especially interested in the ancestors of Frederick Gruben, born May 24, 1898, and his father, Adolf or Adolph Gruben, born April 1869. Frederick Gruben's wife's name was Dessie Dee Lamb, and I am also very interested in any information about her or her relatives.

There has been a middle name of Van Doren (VanDorn) that has been passed down through my family for at least 5 generations. I would like to know if anyone knows the origin of this name, and where I can find information on it. I think it was passed on from Alletta Van Doren Spader, who was the wife of John Deats listed below, but I am not sure.

I am also pursuing the line of Samuel Deats, an innkeeper, born abt. 1795 in PA.

The following is a summary of our Deats line.
Russell Van Doren Deats Sr. - born 1894
Christianus Van Doren Deats - born 1857
John Deats - born 1825
Samuel Deats - born 1795

I am willing to share any information that I have with anyone that finds it helpful.
