Notes for Allen Pierce:
Allen was bound boy. In other words he was a child in England and was picked up by some ships captain and brought to the United States ( it wasnt United States yet however) and sold into bondage to pay for his passage on the boat. He had a brother and both were kidnapped (?) together and once in this country were sold into bondage to the same farmer and took his name as their own. It would be hard to trace without knowing their original name. They were 8 and 9 years old, so she said.

Grandmother Pierce (some places it is spelled Pearce Grandpa seems to be the one who changed the spelling.

1850 Census show realestate value 1290 and spelled his last name Pearce at age 32

His last name has also been spelled Pearce
