Notes for Ann Crabtree: She must have been the second wife of Joseph Dearnley as she is too close to the ages of his sons George and Michael to have been their mother. They are all living together in the 1851 census in Newmillerdam. The Burkinshaw girl is likely to be Joseph's grand-daughter rather than Ann's. Also - the wording of Joseph's will suggests she came on the scene later. She had not been married before when she married Joseph Dearnley.
Perhaps she remarried in 1858 in Wakefield as there is a marriage of Ann Dearnley at that time.
