Knowing where we came from helps us understand the circle of life.

George Henry Dunning came to America to fight in the Civil War. His children Clara and George Henry Manning came to New York.He later migrated to Muskegon Michigan around 1870, with his wife Clara Truax, my great,great grandparents.

Thomas Manning who came her from England with his wife Jane Hardy. Their child Joseph Stuart Manning settled in Ravenna Michigan were much of the family resides today.
