I am researching several families:
(1)HARRELD(HARRIL, HAROLD, HERRALD, & various other spellings) family of Virginia, some of whom ended up in Butler County, Kentucky. Others of the same family migrated to Jackson, Mississippi. James HARRELD was awarded 200 acres of land in Virginia, in March of 1784. His son, Robert, came with Daniel BOONE to KY, Logan's Staion, and took his first land in 1782. He married Margaret EDMISTON in 1780. Other names: DAVIS, WAND, HUMPHREY.
(2)Edward CLARK family who moved to Butler County, Kentucky, from Campbell County, VA, about 1812. Edward married Elizabeth SMITH and they had 12 children. Other names: BROWN, MORRIS, OWEN, THORNTON, REED, CARSON.
(3) Jacob DEBRULER, (probably MD),his son, Elijah T,(Harrison Co, KY). Other names: CHEEK, DEWITT, PAYNE, ROBERTS, HILL, MASTISON.
(4)John Talbott SEATON, son John C,(Breckenridge Co, KY). Other names: OVERTON, WHEATLEY, GODSEY.
(5)John (Jack) TINSLEY, son Elijah,(both Allen Co, KY) grandson George Garfield, (IL). Other names: COGHILL, MCPHERSON, BROOKS.
