Manning family back before 1614
Wright family back to about 1631.
Way family back to before 1685.
Sitterlee family back to 1827.
George Sitterlee was born 1827 in Alsace Lorine.
His parents were born in Germany. George Sitterlee came to Lyons
New York in 1848 from France. He was a mason by trade and a Civil War Veteran, served with Sherdian @ Winchester, VA., Co. C 160 NYS Volunteers.
He married Katherine Stoetzel in Lyons, New York.
Katherine Stoetzel was born May 1828 in Saxony, Germany as were her parents.
Katherine came to America about 1850 and settled in Lyons New York. Katherine and George had 7 children. They were my g-g grandparents.
I am looking for more information on these families. I welcome any and all information about the families listed above.
