I am researching the de Courcey family in Australia and am in the very early stages of my searches. My G/Grandfather Edward de Courcey came to Australia from New Zealand where he was apparently born approx 1884. He supposedly Married Ellen Cassidy(Griffith)in Auckland in 1872 however my brother and I have not found any trace of him there so far.
My next step is the IGI and it may point me in the correct direction.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
