I am researching my ancestry: Paternal grandparents are Andrew and Rosa Utra Pfeiffer who came to America in 1897 and settled in Pulaski Co. Indiana. Among their children are Wendel, Catherine, Anna, Andrew, May(or Mary) John, Joseph, and William. Andrew and Rosa were originally from Austria-Hungary, with Wendel, Catherine, and Anna being born there. Maternal grandparents are Joseph L. and Anna Niedenborn Green. Joseph came to America in 1886 and settled in Illinois where he worked on the railroad. Anna and firstborn son, Joseph came in 1887. At this time they lived in Livingston Co. Illinois. Besides Joseph the remaining children born to them (in order of birth): John, Thomas, Mary, Frank, Margaret, Marion, Michael, Catherine, George, and Elizabeth. Joseph and Anna originated in Posen,(Poland) Germany and their name there was Zielinski. Anyone who may have any information about any of these people or their descendants I would truly love to hear from you and would share any information I have.
