We are tracing our family history which includes, among others, the following branches: DeCuir, Mattheisen, Corbliss, Benson, Cash, Wilkerson, McGinnis and Heyl or Von Heyl.

Specifically, ggf Omer DeCuir and wife, Lela DeLaCroix, their son is gf Sidney (Peter?) DeCuir (born February 11, 1898 in France - died October 1980 in NY/NJ) who married Martha Veronica Heyl (born May 20, 1901 in NY - died August 23, 1974 in Orange, NJ), daughter of Johann Frederich Von Heyl (aka John Frederick Heyl) (Born June 25, 1867 in Queen's County, NY) and his wife Dortea Mattheisen (aka Dorothea or Dorothy)(born May 25, 1878). As well as the families of Charles Corbliss and wife Vesta Viola Benson of NJ; Charles Elmer Cash, his wife Josephine Helen Wilkerson; and William Goven McGinnis of Nelson and Amherst Counties, Virginia.
