Personal Note: I attended Kindergarten and 1st grade from 1964 through 1966 at Jefferson Elementary school in Eureka, Humboldt Co., California; from 1966 to1969 2nd and 3rd grade (twice for 3rd grade) at Central Elementary school in Zion, Lake Co. Illinois; from 1969 to 1970 4th grade, at Ellis Elementary school, in Round Lake Beach, Lake Co, Illinois; from 1970 to 1971 5th grade, at Maple Dale-Indian Hill Schools, Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co. Wisconsin; from 1971to 1972 6th grade, at Ellis Elementary, Round Lake Beach, Lake Co., Illinois.
I attended 7th and 8th grades at John T. Magee Junior High school in Round Lake, Lake Co., Illinois from 1972 to 1974; from 1974 to 1976 9th and 10th grade, Round Lake Senior High, Round Lake, Lake Co., Illinois. I dropped out of school after the 10th grade.
In 1978 I moved to Carbondale, Jackson County, Illinois, my best friend, Kathy Smith was in college there and she was having a hard time. I also missed her a great deal. I worked odd jobs and lived in her dorm room, a motel and finally a trailer with other people for awhile. I met and married my first husband while in Carbondale.

TC), the son of Authur B. Clark and Viola Clark nee. Brisco, age 27, born 23 January 1952 at Lake Charles, Louisiana, on 16 March 1979 at Buffalo Bobs Tavern in Carbondale by Jan King, Minister, Universal Life Church. Witnesses were Chip (?) Ramsey and Cathy Cucchi.
Personal Note: It was a "traditional" biker wedding. Not long after we were married, we moved to Jacksonville Florida, where we stayed with his aunt and uncle. Eventually we moved to a motel and I got a job as an exotic dancer. Our marriage was over by October of 1979, our drinking and drug use didn't help things any. I left him and returned to my parents home in Round Lake Beach, Illinois.
Military Records show that on October 25, 1980, I joined the United States Army delayed entry program at the U.S. Army recruiting office in Round Lake Beach, Lake Co., Illinois. November 25, 1980 my enlistment began, I was assigned to USARECSTA (U.S. Army Recruit Station),Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, as a recruit trainee, Rank - Private E1(I am using my military records as a guide to the dates and units I was assigned to, as my memory isn't what it used to be). From December 2, 1980 to February 6, 1981 I was in basic training, I was assigned to Btry E, 6th Tng Bn, USAFATC (U. S. Army Field Artillery Training Center), at FT. Sill, Oklahoma.
From February 6, 1981 to May 12, 1981, I was in AIT (Advanced Individual Training), my MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) being 93F, Field Artillery Meterology. I was assigned to Btry C 6th Tng Bn USAFATC, FT. Sill, Oklahoma, learning to send up weather balloons and track them, gather wet bulb information and project wind drifts. I was promoted to the rank of Private E2 on May 25, 1981. On March 20, 1981, I changed my MOS from Field Artillery Meterology to Ammunition Specialist (55B).
On May 12 and 13, 1981 I was en route to Redstone Arsenal Alabama for training in my new MOS. From May 13, 1981 to July 28, 1981, I was a student at the 8th Training Company (TR), USAMMCS (U. S. Army Missile and Munitions Center and School) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. MOS 55B10 Ammunition Storage Specialist. ASI (Additional Skill Identifier) L4, Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist. From July 28, 1981 - August 5, 1981 I was en route to my first duty assignment in Germany.
From August 5, 1981 to December 5, 1982 I was stationed at Company B, 8th Combat Aviation Battalion, 8th Infantry Division - Finthen Army Airfield, Finthen Germany. I served in the following sections 55B10 Ammunition Specialist, Fuel Handler in the POL (Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants) Section, and as the units NBC (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical) Defence Clerk. My job was to order ammunition for training missions, hot and cold refuel of helicopters, drive and perform operator maintenance on 5 ton cargo and 2 1/2 ton JP4 (Jet fuel) vehicles, and maintain and issue Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) warfare protective equipment. I was promoted to the rank of PFC - E3 (private first class) on November 25, 1981 and to SP4 - E4 (specialist 4th class) on December 1, 1982.

Congratulations to one of our girls PFC Vicky Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Deckrosh of Round Lake Beach, has been promoted to Ammunition Specialist. She has been in the armed forces for more than a year and is stationed in Germany.
Education Records and Diploma of GED for Vicky Deckrosh, Big Ben Community College, Washington State, U.S. Army Education Department, Finthen, Germany, shows that Vicky L. Clark satisfactorily completed a course of study for graduation from the High Schools of the State of Washington and is therefore awarded this Diploma, dated 1 March 1982. On January 13, 1982 I took the following CLEP General Exams - English, Social Sciences and History, and Humanities earning 18 Semester hours of college credit.
On December 4, 1982, I received a Certificate of Appreciation from my unit commander,Major Stephen Monoski.
From December 5, 1982 to January 3, 1983 I was en route to CONUS (Continental United States) for my next duty assignment. From January 3, 1983 to March 12, 1984 I was assigned as a 55B10L4 Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist, Company C USAARMC (U.S. Army Armament Center) Ft. Knox, Kentucky.My duties were to perform and direct manual and automated inventory counts of ammunition, prepare and process shipping and receiving documents, update requisition history files of assets on hand for supply action and assist in overall office operation. I was promoted to the rank of SP5 - E5 (Specialist 5) on December 5, 1983.
On November 2, 1983 I received an Honorable Discharge from my first enlistment, I then re enlisted for an additional three years. I received the Good Conduct Medal and my Overseas Service Medal (1st Award) on November 24, 1983.
Final Decree of Divorce of Vicky Lynn Clark and Trent Allen Clark, State of Kentucky, County of Hardin, Circuit Court, Case No. 84-CI-112, shows that the final decree of divorce was issued 12 April 1984.
From March 12, 1984 to April 13, 1984 I was en route to Japan for my next duty assignment.
From April 13, 1984 to April 9, 1985, I was assigned to the United States Army Ammunition Depot, in Akizuki, Japan. I was assigned as the units Ammunition Specialist and as the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Noncommissioned Officer. My duties were to maintain accountability of ammunition stocks valued at over $200 million (dollars), process shipping and receiving documents, key punch for automated data entry, prepare monthly asset data reports, update requisition history files of assets on hand for supply action and prepare material release orders for surveillance. I had the additional duties of storing, maintaining and issuing Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) warfare protective equipment, training personnel in protective procedures, assigning NBC detection teams, barracks NCO responsible for barracks maintenance and maintain duty rosters.On April 3, 1985 I received an Appreciation Plaque from my unit, my Overseas Service Medal (2nd Award), and my Expert Qualification Badge on the M16 Rifle.
From April 9, 1985 to May 1, 1985 I was en route to CONUS to receive advanced training. From May 1, 1985 to August 9, 1985 I was a student in the 55R20M6 Ammunition Stock and Accounting Specialist Advanced Course (Computerized), at the 5th Training (ST) Company, USAOMMCS, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. From August 9, 1985 to August 21, 1985 I was en route to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky for my next assignment.
From August 21, 1985 to October 31, 1986 I was assigned to HHC/MMC DISCOM (Headquarters, Headquarters Company, Missile and Munitions Center, Division Support Command), 101st Airborne Division, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. I was assigned as the Division Unit Basic Load (war stock ammunition) Noncommissioned Officer. My duties were to process shipping and receiving documents review and update unit basic load ammunition computation for over 200 using units, train using units ammunition officers and enlisted personnel to compute unit basic loads using Personnel, Material and Equipment (MTOE) allowance tables and Forces Command (FORSCOM) allowance formulas. I supervised and trained new Division Ammunition Office (DAO) enlisted personnel in general office procedures, unit operations, document processing, common military skills and assisted in overall office operations.
On September 1, 1985 I received the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (1st Award). On October 1, 1985, I was given a lateral rank change to Sergent E-5 (backdated to December 5, 1983). From January 21, 1986 to February 14, 1986, I attended the Primary Leadership and Development Course (PLDC) at Ft. Campbell, I graduated in the top 20 percent of my class.
On February 17, 1986 I received a Letter of Commendation from the 101st Airborne Division Command Sergent Major, and the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (2nd Award).
I participated in Hands Across America on May 25, 1986.
On October 27, 1986 I received an Appreciation Plaque from the Division Ammunition Office and on October 31, 1986 I received an Honorable Discharge from the Army.
I moved back to my parents home after my discharge and was planning to take a six month vacation, however, I was bored to tears by the end of three weeks. In December of 1986 I went to work for the Kelly Temporary service and was assigned to work at Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Deerfield, Illinois. In June of 1987 I attended a Career Track continuing education seminar, and in September of 1987 was hired on as a permanent employee of Baxter. I also purchased my first home in 1987, located at 1212 Sunnyside in Round Lake Beach, however, I had a drinking and drug problem as well as mental problems. I had a mild breakdown in 1989 that cost me my job. Shortly after I was released from the hospital, I met the man who was to become my second husband.

Johnson officiated.
Personal Note: My marriage was doomed from the start, I was still drinking and using drugs and Doug had a problem with cocaine. By the early part of 1991 I had lost my home to foreclosure, and we had moved into his parents home. His mother is a very nice woman, but difficult to live with. We were both working low paying jobs and in early 1992 we moved into my sisters home. By the middle of May Doug and I had split up.
In May of 1992 I suffered another breakdown, this time landing me in the Veterans Hospital at North Chicago, Illinois for five weeks. During this hospitalization, I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar Affective Disorder with Agoraphobia. When they finally figured out what was wrong with me and got me on the correct medication, I began to improve. In June of 1992, I met Larry Yaworski. Larry was also in the hospital, he is a Vietnam Veteran with post traumatic stress and manic problems. We hit it off right away, my mom said that we were "a match made on the psycho ward", and she was right.
In July of 1992, after both being released from the hospital, we started dating. I went back to my sisters home and Larry moved into the boarding house behind her home. I was kicked out of my sisters house by her boyfriend Randy for yelling at his son at the end of September of 1992. Larry and I stayed in a motel until October 1 when we then were able to rent a small apartment in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois.
From January 1993 through July 1993 I took the Interior Decorating course offered from International Correspondence School. . Diploma. 5 Semester units earned.
I applied for and am currently receiving Social Security Disability for my mental illness.
On March 4, 1994, I filed for divorce from Doug, we agreed to and did split the cost between us and we remain on good terms with each other.
Final Decree of Divorce of Vicky Lynn Heater nee. Deckrosh and Douglas William Heater, State of Illinois, County of Lake, Circuit Court, Case No. 94D452, shows that the final decree of divorce was granted 16 March 1994. I took back my maiden name of Deckrosh.
Personal Note: Larry Yaworski and I moved to an Apartment in Antioch, Illinois in April of 1994 and currently reside there. On January 7, 1997, Larry and I became engaged, we plan to marry on October 2, 1999.
Marriage plans have changed, if we marry, I will become category C at the Veterans Hospital (combined income level will be to high) and it will cost approximately $135.00 a week for my medical care. So we will exchange vows without a license at a Handfasting ceremony sometime in July of 1999 at the Bristol Renaissance faire.
17 June 1999, Wedding has been postponed due to lack of funds.
