Thomas' lines includes the surnames Dedmon, Dickson, Hambright, Walker, Evitt, Green,Wells, Daffron and Templeton. These families settled into Catoosa County, Georgia in the 1800's mainly from North and South Carolina. Diane's paternal ancestors settled into White and Van Buren Counties of Tennessee. Prominent surnames are Sparkman, Mayes, Womack, Knowles, Hollandsworth, and Cummings. Diane's maternal ancestors include Childers, Cole, Treglown, and Ford. These families migrated to Paulding and Polk Counties of Georgia in the early to mid 1800's. Descendants of Jacob Cole (384 KB) The Descendants of Jacob Cole (1809-1892) and Elizabeth Unknown (1807-1891) who were born in South Carolina but lived most of their life and died in Paulding County, Georgia. The Descendants of Micajah M. Ford (149 KB) The Descendants of Micajah M. Ford who was born about 1836 in Tennessee. He married Elizabeth Myers before the Civil War, raising a family in McMinn County, Tennessee. After fighting for the CSA in the Calvary, he moved to Georgia where He married Mahala Cole (daughter of Jacob Cole) and raised another family. Both families are included here. The Descendants of George Green (168 KB) The Greens came from South Carolina to Catoosa County, Georgia in the 1800's. Surnames include: Hambright, Dickson, Templeton and Dedmon.
