Willis family group (72 KB) The Willis Family, ca 1951 in Gallatin/Saline co. Illinois area. This family included 10 sons, 6 of whom served in WWII. (4 in the Navy, and 2 in the Army) The youngest son served in the Korean conflict. BLACK FAMILY GROUP ca 1898/99, Gallatin Co. IL (315 KB) This Photo probably was taken at an annual gathering of the Black family. The Matriarch, Joanna (Granny) BLACK is in the middle.(her husband, John died before this was taken) Granny BLACK died shortly after this was taken. These are the descendants of John and Joanna "Hannah on the picture"(STETSON) Black #36. My grandfather, John "Henry" Black #35 had the forthought to number the individuals and write their names for future generations who wouldn't know who they were. We are so grateful to him for the trouble he went through to do this thoughtful act. Bill and Shirley (Willis/Harding) DEEM (57 KB) Bill and Shirley were married Dec 11, 1976 in Owen Co. IN. They have resided in Monroe Co. IN for 32 years.
