I am looking for information on the Salvatore Cammarata to (9/27/1895 to 7/29/1951) family from Sicaly. The information I have only includes the names of Salvatores' parents. Guiseppi Cammarata and Phillipia Turchio. I have no information on these individuals except they were supposidly from the village of catania ? in San Cono? Sicily, italy. Obviously, I am a beginner in geneology and have no idea of how to do research. Salvatore Cammarata married Anna Pizzalato and had 3 children. Salvatore had brothers named Santo, Cono, and a sister named Gracia. If anyone has information on how to obtain information on these individuals I would appreciate the help. The information I have is that salvatore added an m to the surname camarata and spelled his name Cammarata. I do not know if this is correct. I believe my family immigrated to the US in the early 1900's and that both Santo, and Cono, also came with Salvatore.
I am also researching the John Benjamin Define family of Navarre, Ohio. The oldest relavitive I have information on for this family is his father Vincenco Define who died March 27, 1939 in Canton, Ohio. I know he imigrated from Italy and married Lucia Villone. They lived in Navarre, Ohio. Any information would be appreciated.
