WOMER - TILLEY

Miss Mary Tilley, of Bon-Air, and John W. Womer of Franklin Borough were married last evening at the home of the bride's sister in the Franklin Building, corner of Franklin and Locust streets, by the Rev. John H. Lancaster, pastor of the Conemaugh Methodist Church in the presence of a number of relatives of the contracting pair. Including Mr. and Mrs. W. J. (unreadable), the Misses Tilley, Charles Tilley, father of the bride and others. A fine wedding supper was served after the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Womer will make their home in Franklin Borough.

      9. Thomas A.3 Tilley (Charles2, Charles1) was born August 20, 1886 in Brisbin, Clearfield Co., PA, and died May 27, 1960 in Torrence, PA. He married Nannie O. Altimus 1924 in Cambria Co., PA, daughter of Harry Altimus and Elizabeth Fulton. She was born June 13, 1894 in Johnstown, Cambria Co., PA, and died October 13, 1985 in Johnstown, Cambria Co., PA.

Tilley, Thomas Albert, 73, 423 Swank Street, died at 4 p.m. May 27, 1960. Born Aug. 20, 1886 in Brisbin, PA, son of Charles and Hannah (Davis) Tilley. Survived by widow former Nannie O. Altemus Hunt and these children: Thomas A. Jr., Milwaukee, Wis., and Charles H., 421 Swank St; also step-daughter Edna Mae wife of Harry A. Hamilton, Natrona Heights, PA; seven grandchildren and these sisters: Mrs. Mary Womer, Grove Avenue; Mrs. Hattie Beam, Elmira, Ohio and Mrs. Helen Mishler and Mrs. Lillian Waddell, both of New Florence. Preceded in death by sister, Lizzie. Member of Roxbury Methodist Church and Alma Lodge, IOOF. Veteran of World War I. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in H. M. Picking Sons Mortuary where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Wilburt T. Diddle. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.

TILLEY - Mrs. Nannie Olive, 91, formerly of 423 Swank St., died Oct. 12, 1985 at Church of the Brethren Home. Friends were received at The Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Timothy M. Storms. Interment, Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

*Nannie was married twice: 1st marriage to Howard Hunt b. 13 July 1890 d. 22 June 1916. Nannie is buried beside Howard.

Preceded in death by husbands, Albert Waddell and Charles Fisher; son, Robert Waddell, step-son; William Fisher; sister, Helen Mishler; half-brother, Thomas Tilley; and three half-sisters, Mary, Haddie and Lizzy. Survived by daughter, Mildred (Waddell), wife of John Ankney, Seward; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; also survived by stepson, Charles Fisher, Jeannette; numerous step grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Louise Waddell, New Florence. Former self-employed paper hanger. Member of Franklin Street United Methodist Church and Johnstown Senion Citizens Center where she enjoyed square, round and line dancing for many years.
