| I have been researching the BARONE family from Campobasso Italy and the HERZOG family from Sea Cliff Long Island. Anyone who may have information. I would love to check it out. Anyone who is looking for information is welcome to contact me and I will do what I can to help you out. I have the following..... Domenico was born on December 9,1879 His wife Maria CICOLE was born August 15,1874. When Domenico left Italy He had one son Guisseppe(Joseph)who was not quite Two. He sailed on the REPUBLIC from Naples on January 24,1904 and arrived on February 10,1904 in the port of Boston. He later sent for his wife and son. They had three mor children daughters starting in 1914. I believe he sent for his wife and son in 1910.Joseph married Lillian Dubois Herzog in 1924 in Manhattan they had 9 children. August HERZOG was a veterinarian and a volunteer Fire Fighter with Sea Cliff Engine Co.1. He was killed around 1906 when he fell off the hook and ladder and was run over. He was married to Lillian Dubois. They had five children although some were half siblings their names are Henrietta, Lillian, Dorothy, Star and Frank. The first three were put in an orphanage after their father died. The location of Star is unknown. Frank along with his father died the location of their final remains in unknown. |
