From Prussia with Love - The DEKAs in South Bend

As the title of this page would suggest, the DEKA family roots are traceable to Prussian origins. My grandmother, Veronica, was born in a little place called Talkuny, Prussian Poland which is now Tolkunai, Lithuania. Alas, I have yet to discover the birthplace of my grandfather, John Deka. He is said to be Prussian also but I have not been able to verify this assertion.
