The Wideners of Texas

Updated December 22, 2010

***
I am researching the Wideners of Texas and would like to find more family photos and stories to add to my genealogy. Also, old family Bibles are great sources of information since they used to use them to record family events like births, deaths and marriages, so, if anyone has one to share (either photocopied or scanned) that would be wonderful.
I would also like to find out more about the Wideners that first immigrated to America back in the early 1700's. I believe Peter and Catherina came from either Germany or Switzerland and I would like to confirm which country it is. It would also be interesting to know why they came and who their parents and ancestors are.
I am also trying to find out if there is any connection to the P.A.B. Wideners of Philadelphia. Several family members believe there is and I would like to verify whether there is or not a connection.
Any information you wish to share about any of the Wideners on this page would be greatly appreciated and I will be glad to share anything I have as well.
