Notes for DR. WILLIAM T. BOHANAN:
Dr. Bohanan received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore in 1866. Three years after he began practicing medicine, he bought sixteen acres know as Doctor's Point from John White Thompson Cullison and his wife, Mary E. Cecil. In October of 1875, he bought Haton's Rest, 250 acres, and Thomas Manor, 30 acres at Park Hall, St. Mary's County. This property overlooked the St. Mary River and was held by the Bohanan, Edelen and Hilton families for years.
