I know this is a photo of William Burnett, but I don't know if it is Wm Burnett Jr or Sr. The photo was taken in Terre Haute, Indiana. There is a 2 cent stamp on the back and the number 56077. I understand there weren't zip codes back then, so I don't know what the number was. That was written in ink. In pencil it says Wm. Burnett, and a little to the left and below in pencil there is "20". Could that be his age? Also in faint pencil, "presented to you fr---- & respect ful friend with Co-------"

On the back of the photo, "Stephen Grover Burnett father of Wm B, Stephen G., Linus A., Rhoda Hevener. Grandfather of O. L. Burnett" I took this to mean that Wm had a middle initial of 'B' since everyone else had a middle initial. Or it could be that the 'B' was for Burnett. Anyone know?
