Find Family

* DeLong, Tufts, Burton, and Stewart Roots*

Updated September 6, 2000

The DeLongs I am interested in came from Pennsylvania to Southern Ohio in the early 1800's.
My father's mother was a Tufts, traceable to Peter tufts, who was born in 1617 and moved to the Colonies in the early 1600s.

I have very little information on my maternal grandfather's family. His grandfather was Andrew Jackson Burton, who lived in Lawrence County Kentucky in the 1800s.

My maternal grandmother's family were the Stewarts. I have information on them going back to Dr. John Stewart who was born about 1660 in Scotland.

I am also interested in the surnames, McKinster, Kitchen, Blair, Harrison, Wyman, Dix, and others.
