| The research and information appearing here includes the DelGrosso, Sekelsky and Forbis and Montelone families from New Kensington, Pennsylvania and any branches resulting from these. The research has been done by Jean DelGrosso, daughter of Louis DelGrosso and Mary G. Sekelsky of New Kensington, Pennsylvania and the research is on-going. Louis DelGrosso came here from Chieti, Italy as a 1 year old babe in arms through the ever famous Ellis Island in New York. I'm still trying to find information on Sekelsky or Blaschak ancestors from Czechoslovokia. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have recently heard from a fellow family-seeker that there is record of a Joseph Sekelsky and family in Noye, Clinton County, Pennsylvania with another brother, Steve. I don't know if these are children of the John or Joseph born in the 1880's in Gromos, Saros, Hungary. They must be - my grandfather John would be 124 years old now (a little older than the oldest living person!). Now, I need to find any records of familial relations to my maternal grandmother, Kunakunda (Kay or Katheryn) Blaschak. She was born in 1885 and was married to John Sekelsky in 1905 in New York City. I know it could be spelled numerous ways. But I have found no record of her coming through Ellis Island and I've tried all spellings I could think of. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Included is also some background information on my domestic partner or significant other for the past 20 years: Bruce Donald Morabito. I've included his family background: MORABITO / BUFFA but only in a sketchy way, as he doesn't have very much information on his family's background. So any information there would be appreciated also. I hope all of you who visit here enjoy looking over the history of our families and the information contained herein.
