The DeLong Family of Worcester, New York Home Page

Arie Fransen (Arent Langet, DeLang, Delong, etc, died about 1698) likely appeared at New Amsterdam in 1659 and in Ulster County NY by 1670. His descendants Frans Delang (1681-1755) and Arie Langet/Delong (1705-1770) were in Kingston, Fishkill, Beekman and elsewhere in the Hudson Valley. Lawrence (about 1755-1819/1829) was an original settler in Lincoln VT in 1795. Either Lawrence or his more obscure brother Martin (born about 1748) was the likely father of Ephraim (1785-1843), who with his descendants Awry (1817-1887), Oscar (1851-1918), Arthur S. (1886-1957), Albert S. (1913-1995) and Lawrence A. (born 1941) all lived in Westford and Worcester, Otsego County, NY. I am seeking further history of all these family members, as well as of these associated families: James GOLDEN of Long Island and William H.
