Wayne Delvin Family Home Page

I am searching for Delvins in Minnesota. My grandfather, Frank Lewis Delvin, was supposedly born in Buckman, MN on July 22, 1888. The 1860 census shows a Hoyt Delvin in St. Anthony in Hennepin County. He was a lumberman and was 33 years old. His wife was Eliza J., age 32. They had a daughter named Mary H., age 11 and a son named Geoge H., age 2. Apparently, George was born in St. Anthony, but the others came there from a place I could not decipher in the census record.
I am also trying to determine the Delvin family connection to Ireland. There is a Baron Delvin going back to the 1400's or so whose family name was (or is) Nugent. There is a small town in Ireland named Delvin with a Delvin Castle. Friends and relatives have visited there and brought me information, but nothing connects the Delvin families in the US to that location.

I would be interested in any information about these subjects and I would be willing to share information.
