He was married to Addie I. Pettinger March 26, 1884. She preceeded him 8 years ago. To this union were born 9 children all living but one who died in infancey: Roy, who could not be found; Myrtle and Charlotte of Nashville; Fred, McKinley, Marlie, Arlo and Arthur who are still at home. Mr. Main was a hard working man, always ready and willing to help when needed. He leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father 8 children, 4 sisters, one brother and two grandchildren besides a host of relatives and friends.

Rest for your toils are ended,
For your work on earth is done;
For you've gone to rest forever
Where the angels dwell around
There sickness and sorrow never come,
And happiness is forever there.
For the daisies grow more bright for you,
For your share on this earth is done.
For now you now sleep forever.
And some day the curtain
Will open and we will see
Our dear father's face
For then we will never part.

Card of Thanks-We wish to thank the kind neighbors and friends for their kindness during the sickness and death of our dear father. And to the Gleaners and Myrtle Worker Lodge for the beautiful flowers sent. Surely your kindness will never be forgotten.
