I am currently researching John W. Rose family. John W. Rose was born February 1832 in N.Y. believe that it may have been Franklinville but have not found any source of proof. He married Isabelle Thompson in April 1863 in Mecosta Co., MI.
Also researching the Keim/Kime family. Charles E. Kime married Nellie M. Foster they had two daughters one of which; Lenora Bell; my grandmother; married John W. Rose b.1871 in MI after his death in 1900 she married his brother Charles H. Rose b.1873 in MI.. John and Nora had two children together; Charles and Nora had ten children together.
My "Rose" Family information has been compiled by the following individuals besides myself: Allsion Butler:alli@sydtech.com; Karen Anderson: KAnde41236@aol.com, and Susan Neumann: susann@igateway.net. Karen has information on the descendants of Anna Rose and William Crisler; Susan's line is Ella Rose and Phillip Hittle; and Allison's line is similar to mine that of Lenora Kime and John W. and Charles H. Rose.
Nellie (Foster) Kime married William Ralph Adams probably in Mecosta Co., MI and I am also researching this family, but have very little information to this date.
Last but not least I am researching the family of Albert Main. I have information that he was born in N.Y., PA., and Canada, but he was born in abt. 1818-19 and married Mary Atkinson in Canada. I have found no information on the parents or siblings of Albert and at this point that is my main objective. I have information also that there was Native American bloodlines in this family, but also have found no source of proof for this info either. I do know that Albert had a brother named Willard and together they purchased property in Castleton township, Barry Co., Mi. Willard was in the Civil War, but there seems to be very little information on him once he mustered out.
