I am researching RHODES, SINGLETON, BENNETT, and CHILDRESS families. The early RHODES' genealogy came from the Internet. I have received a great deal of information from my brother, uncle, and cousins, also. I have been searching the Internet, libraries, court houses, and cemeteries for about four years.
Rhodes' family comes from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and East Texas. My line of Rhodes moved to East Texas soon after the Civil War.
I have very little information on Singleton, Bennett and Childress families. Hope to add more as I search. If you have any information, I would appreciate your help.
I will be adding more information as soon as possible. I do hope that we will be able to share information on the family lines.
I would like to "Thank" all the relatives that have shared photos with me. I only started with three pictures of my Dad while he was young. These are real treasures to me since I lost my Dad when I was young. This web page is my way of sharing with others since everyone has been so kind to me and my family.
