The Deyongh /Deom /Delisle Family Home Page

Updated September 6, 2000

I am researching the Deyongh family from St-Malo, France. Michel Deyongh is as far back as we go. His wife's name was Marie-Jeanne Nepveu. His son, Charles Constant Deyongh, a sailmaker, is the first of the family to immigrate to Canada. He married Marguerite Godreau in Quebec City, Canada on July 31,1832 in St-Roch parish. After his wife's death he remarried Sophie Perreault on September 13, 1852 also in St-Roch parish in Quebec City.We have been led to believe that he might have had a brother or two who moved on to the USA using the name Deyoung and this is what we are searching for.We would appreciate any help we can get and give any help that we can.We are also tracing the Delisle family. I have alot of information on them but am always looking for more. Especially the ones in France where I haven't been able to continue the line. Thanks for any help you can give me.
